How does SignalPipe detect buying intent?

SignalPipe uses a three-stage pipeline: a keyword gate for cheap pre-filtering, OpenAI text-embedding-3-small for semantic similarity scoring against your anchor sentences, and a three-model LLM swarm (Optimist, Analyst, Skeptic) that evaluates each post independently. A hard skeptic veto suppresses any signal the most skeptical judge dismisses.

Does SignalPipe send messages automatically?

No. Every message requires human approval before it is sent. SignalPipe drafts the reply and queues it for your review — you approve, edit, or reject each one. Nothing is sent without your explicit sign-off.

What platforms does SignalPipe monitor?

SignalPipe monitors Reddit (via subreddit RSS feeds), Hacker News (via hnrss.org keyword feeds), and any RSS-compatible feed. You can add as many sources as you want per product.

How is SignalPipe different from Clay or Apollo?

Clay enriches contact lists you already have. Apollo is a cold email database. SignalPipe generates net-new leads by detecting live buying signals — finding people who are actively posting that they need what you sell, right now, in public communities.

Does SignalPipe work with NVIDIA NeMoClaw?

Yes — fully compatible out of the box. NeMoClaw is NVIDIA's enterprise distribution of OpenClaw, so any OpenClaw plugin installs and runs on NeMoClaw without modification. For on-prem deployments, SignalPipe also supports local model inference: set COMPANION_LLM_PROVIDER=openai_compatible and point it at a locally running Nemotron or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Your leads, prospect data, and generated messages never leave your infrastructure.

Can I run SignalPipe fully on-premises?

Yes. Self-host the FastAPI backend on your own server, connect it to your own PostgreSQL database, and configure the companion message generation to use a local model via any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (Nemotron via NeMoClaw, Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM). The only external call that remains is the OpenAI embedding API for signal scoring — and that can be swapped for a local embedding model by request.

X/Twitter is not a monitoring source in SignalPipe — it is an outreach channel. After SignalPipe surfaces a warm lead from Reddit or Hacker News, your agent can look up whether the prospect is active on X and reach out there as an alternative to a Reddit reply or direct email.

How SignalPipe adds X / Twitter Outreach to OpenClaw

The X outreach path is straightforward: SignalPipe scores the lead on Reddit or HN, you approve it, your OpenClaw agent checks if the prospect has a linked X profile, and drafts a context-aware reply referencing their original post. Because the opening line references something they said publicly, it reads nothing like a cold DM.

Agent finds the prospect's X profile

For Reddit leads, the agent can check if the Reddit username maps to a public X profile. This step is manual in the current release — X profile lookup is on the roadmap.

Your agent drafts a reply or DM that opens with the context from the Reddit/HN post. The message is warm because it starts with something they actually said.

You approve before sending

Human approval is always required before any message is sent. The agent never sends autonomously to X.

Does SignalPipe monitor X/Twitter for buying signals?

Not in the current release. X is an outreach channel — you reach people there after finding them on Reddit or Hacker News. Native X monitoring (using the X API) is on the roadmap as a future update.

Why doesn't SignalPipe monitor X directly?

X API access at the level required for real-time monitoring requires a paid developer tier. The current architecture uses open RSS feeds (Reddit, HN, generic RSS) that are free and reliable. X monitoring is a planned paid add-on.

Can my OpenClaw agent post to X automatically?

No. SignalPipe enforces human approval before any outreach is sent, including X DMs or replies. Autonomous posting to X is not supported and is not planned — the risk of spam classification is too high.

When will X monitoring be available?

There is no confirmed release date. X API changes in 2023–2024 made real-time monitoring expensive. When X monitoring ships, it will be an add-on tier, not part of the base plan.
