Terms of Service

Last updated: April 18, 2026

1. Acceptance

By installing the SignalPipe plugin, using the SignalPipe managed backend, or submitting your email to the waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you (“Operator”) and SignalPipe.

2. Description of service

SignalPipe provides an OpenClaw plugin and a managed backend API that monitors public RSS feeds and community platforms for buying-intent signals, drafts outreach messages, and tracks prospect nurturing. The plugin is MIT licensed. The backend scoring engine is proprietary and provided as a managed service.

3. Operator responsibilities

As an Operator you agree to:

  • Use SignalPipe only for lawful outreach. You must comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and any other applicable laws governing commercial communications in your jurisdiction.
  • Obtain any consent required before contacting prospects identified by SignalPipe.
  • Not use SignalPipe to send spam, harass individuals, or engage in deceptive outreach.
  • Keep your operator key confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your key.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the backend scoring logic.
  • Not resell or sublicense access to the managed backend without written permission.
  • Ensure you have a lawful basis for any personal data (prospect handles, emails) you submit to the backend.

4. Acceptable use

The following uses are prohibited:

  • Automated mass-messaging without human review of each message.
  • Targeting individuals based on protected characteristics (race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.).
  • Scraping platforms in violation of their terms of service.
  • Using the service to generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading.
  • Attempting to exceed rate limits or otherwise abuse the shared infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of these terms.

5. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The backend runs on Railway infrastructure. Scheduled maintenance, upstream outages, or force majeure events may cause interruptions. We will communicate planned downtime via email where possible. No SLA is provided during the beta / waitlist period.

6. Intellectual property

The SignalPipe plugin code is MIT licensed — you are free to use, modify, and redistribute it under the MIT license terms. The managed backend, scoring engine, swarm configuration, and all proprietary algorithms remain our exclusive property. No license to the backend IP is granted beyond the right to use the managed service via the API.

7. Payments and refunds

Pricing will be published when paid tiers launch. Subscription fees are charged in advance. Refunds are available within 7 days of first charge if the service has not been materially used. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods after that window. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that leads identified are accurate, or that outreach messages will achieve any particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalPipe's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, lost profits, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may terminate your use of the service at any time by ceasing to use the backend and notifying us at contact@signalpipe.io. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SignalPipe is registered. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration or in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. If you are an EU consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active operators by email with at least 14 days' notice before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
